Installing the BizTalk 2010 Accelerator for SWIFT (or any other, for that matter)

…it’s been a while since I’ve worked with any BizTalk accelerator, and so I was a bit confused when I knew for a fact there’s an updated version of the accelerator for BizTalk 2010, but I couldn’t find a download anywhere.

Turns out these are now on the actual BizTalk media, in a folder called….wait for it…BizTalk Accelerators!

I just never thought of looking with the actual product. my bad. really! Smile

  • Hi, I started playing around with swift with BTS2K13. I followed the tutorial end-to-end as suggested in the help files shiped with the A4swift adapter. Whenever I drop a swift flat file (the one provided in the tutorial "MT103_Sample.txt" or the one I generate from withing VS based on the MT103 schema) in the receive flatfile location, instances get in suspended state. When I check the message I see The promoted Property A4SWIFT_Failed is True and this expalins why routing is not happening. how can we understand what is wrong with the sample

  • Hi, i am new to biztalk accelerator, i have been using Biztalk server 2010 for e year now and i wanted to start working with swift messages. my problem is that i can not download the accelerator for biztalk. every set up available for download seems to be the message pack. • Hi Emir - slightly confused as my point here was exactly that - there's no longer any download - the accelerators are on the BizTalk media, physical or virtual. if you have an DVD or ISO mount it and loog for the Accelerators folder

  • Hi Yossi - after months i finally found the dvd and installed Biztalk Accelerator.
    Thanks for that :)

    Now i installed Biztalk 2010 Accelerator for SWIFT and FileAct And InterAct Adapters for Swift,
    Is this all i need?

    And the last thing, i need to work on a project to process SWIFT msg,
    Where do i begin, start a new project, create orchestration and ports and after deploy just choose SWIFT Adapter or i should do anything different. Maybe this is dummy as a question but i really don't now where to begin, because on the internet i have not found any tutorial or example on how to create a biztalk solution for SWIFT MSG,

    Thank You For Your Patience,

  • Hi, i managed to create my first swift orchestration using both Swift Pipelines, deployed the solution also deployed the assembly with BRE. till here everything is fine.
    my problem is when i try to change flat file to xml. this is the error i get:
    "This service instance exists to help debug routing failures for instance "{4E9BA6B6-4A46-4346-AB67-B507B881BF8F}". The context of the message associated with this instance contains all the promoted properties at the time of the routing failure."
    AND:
    "The published message could not be routed because no subscribers were found. This error occurs if the subscribing orchestration or send port has not been enlisted, or if some of the message properties necessary for subscription evaluation have not been promoted. Please use the Biztalk Administration console to troubleshoot this failure. "

    When i use the swift pipeline to go from xml to flat, it parses it ok, but the other way it does not work.

    i even tried the msdn example with 103 and even there i could not parse the flat file.

    Please any help would be appreciated.

  • Hi Ermir

    To debug routing failure you first need to figure out which services you expect to pick up the message and check their subscription in the admin console - which properties are they looking for, with which values.

    Armed with that knowledge go to your routing failure message and check that the properties exist, that hey have the correct values and that they were indeed promoted.

    One of these is incorrect

    Hope this helps

    Yossi

  • Dear Yossi, this is the parsing error:

    Any Idea,

    By Anonymous Ermir, at 19/09/2013, 08:53

  • xml version="1.0" encoding="Windows-1252"?>

    By Anonymous Ermir, at 19/09/2013, 10:30

  • Sorry for the confusion, but i have a deadline, and i am literally losing my mind. this is the error:

    ?xml version="1.0" encoding="Windows-1252"?

    ?SWIFT_ERROR MessageType=""
    ?ParseError ExceptionType=""
    LineNumber="0"
    LinePosition="0"
    MultipleEmptyLines="False"
    SchemaName="http://schemas.microsoft.com/BizTalk/Solutions/FinancialServices/SWIFT/SWIFTHeader#SWIFTHeader"?
    ?Message /?
    ?/ParseError?
    ?/SWIFT_ERROR?

    I don't understand why the assembler works fine, and the disassembler no.

  • Dear Yossi,

    It finally worked,
    as you suggested i checked the property's and saw that there were xmlValidationErrors, witch meant that the MT103.txt file was not correct. So i this is an MT103 working example():
    {1:F01BLURUS33AXXX0000000000}{2:I103GOLDUS33GSSXN00}{4:
    :20:TRANS REF 01
    :23B:CRTS
    :32A:120803USD1,00
    :50A:/002055002
    GOLDUS33GSS
    :59A:/102-37788
    BEARUS33
    :71A:OUR
    -}{5:{CHK:123456789012}{SYS:1231313}{TNG:}{PDE:12345}{DLM:}}
    ---------------------------

    Thanks a lot fot your help :)
